Blog presentation

This blog presents the research and development activities carried out by the Inrap geophysics unit and its collaborators, such as :

  • the implementation of low-frequency electromagnetic methods for the determination and characterisation of archaeological and geomorphological features (ArchEM project) ;
  • the development of geophysical data processing tools with QGIS (Archaeological Geophysics Toolbox);
  • the development of the use of multispectral imagery, particularly on stripped areas.

This work is presented in the form of case studies, publications and tutorials. The purpose is to promote and improve a sustainable use of geophysical prospection and remote sensing tools in the framework of preventive archaeological activities.
